Sports broadcasting has given me the opportunity to broadcast some great games at some fantastic venues. The atmosphere in the Carrier Dome can be unlike any other, and the process of transforming the Dome to accommodate each sport is fascinating. Covering Syracuse athletics sent me to some really cool opposing campuses, such as Virginia Tech and Wake Forest, as well as Orlando for a bowl game. Pittsburgh has been one of my favorite cities to visit, both as a tourist and as a broadcaster. I get a Primati Bros. sandwich every time! During my short time at Harvard, I experienced the fun atmosphere of collegiate hockey. I am fortunate to have gone to Madison Square Garden for the "Rivalry on Ice" between Harvard and Yale. My first summer of professional baseball took me to communities around the country I never expected to see. Minor League/Independent baseball is so important to these communities outside of the big cities, and many of the ballparks are quite impressive and luxurious such as Rent One Park in Marion, IL. The trip to the Gateway Grizzlies allowed me to visit one of my favorite cities (St. Louis) and to eat one of my favorite dessert: gooey butter cake.
Broadcasting has also introduced me to some great people. I have worked with some great analysts and have formed great relationships with directors, producers, camera operators, broadcast technicians, etc., all of whom are just as important if not more important than the broadcasters. I will always be grateful for the advice, help, and laughs afforded to me by this second family.

Not going to lie, I enjoy flying charter...

Had a blast working with first-time analyst Alexa Burkhart on Big 12 soccer; she really improved over the course of the year!

It is a pleasure working with different analysts, such as Kayla for this SU women's basketball game, because they all bring different perspectives, knowledge, and styles.
